My Story
My journey into photography began with a simple desire—to capture meaningful moments for my own family. What started as documenting everyday memories gradually grew into something more. That passion truly took shape while attending school for arson investigation, where I learned how to properly use a camera and understand the power of visual documentation. Photography shifted from something I enjoyed to a skill I respected and wanted to master.As my experience grew, so did my appreciation for capturing moments that matter to others. My background in public safety gave me a unique perspective—one rooted in awareness, analysis, and respect for events as they unfold. That mindset naturally carried over behind the lens. Whether photographing a sporting event, a school performance, or a live action environment, I’m drawn to the energy, emotion, and story happening in real time.The turning point came while photographing my own children’s sporting events. Parents began asking if I could capture moments of their kids as well. They connected with the images—not just because of the action, but because of the emotion and pride reflected in them. From there, word spread, and photography became more than a passion—it became a purpose.Today, I bring that same approach to every shoot. Years of working in high-pressure environments have taught me to stay calm, anticipate change, and adapt quickly—skills that are essential when documenting fast-moving events.
